## Description

The National Independence Day Parade is an annual celebration held in Washington, DC, to commemorate America's birthday on July 4th. This patriotic extravaganza brings together bands, fife and drum corps, floats, military and specialty units, giant balloons, equestrian teams, drill teams, VIPs, national dignitaries, and even celebrity participants. Stretching from 7th to 17th Street on Constitution Avenue, the parade attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators. Co-hosted by the National Park Service and produced by Diversified Events, the parade aims to remind Americans of the true meaning behind this holiday. The selection process for participating bands ensures representation from all 50 states, with submissions evaluated based on overall quality and diversity in geography, ethnicity, and style. In addition to the parade, visitors can experience unlimited excitement in the nation's capital, including the National Folklife Festival on the Mall and the renowned PBS Concert at the Capitol Building featuring the National Symphony Orchestra. Join us for a red, white, and blue celebration like no other on America's birthday!.
