## Description

Jumping June is an innovative initiative dedicated to promoting heart health among tamariki (children) across Aotearoa New Zealand. This engaging one-month skipping event encourages schools to get involved by helping students learn about healthy lifestyle habits while raising funds for the Heart Foundation, New Zealand's leading heart charity. Participants can expect a fully supportive experience, as all necessary resources are provided at no cost to schools, ensuring a risk-free, self-funding program.

Through Jumping June, students will enjoy a fun and active way to improve their fitness and self-confidence by learning the skill of skipping. This initiative not only promotes regular physical activity—addressing the concerning fact that only 7% of children meet health guidelines—but also fosters an understanding of heart health and the importance of lifelong healthy choices. By participating, tamariki and their communities can make a meaningful difference in the fight against heart disease while cultivating healthy habits that last a lifetime. Join the movement for healthier hearts—Jump for Joy with Jumping June!
