## Description

The "Phoenix" Development Center for Sports Projects (ЦРСП "ФЕНИКС"), established on July 3, 2013, by residents of St. Petersburg, aims to revitalize basketball in Russia following the decline of women's basketball. The foundation supports youth and student basketball through innovative programs, competitions, and training initiatives. Named after the mythical Phoenix, it symbolizes rebirth and resilience in sport, particularly during challenging times for women's basketball.

"Phoenix" organizes numerous projects, including the "Phoenix Cup" and a basketball academy, while also facilitating participation in international tournaments. The organization collaborates closely with local sports committees and schools to foster talent development and improve skills among young athletes. Furthermore, the foundation has created an endowment fund to sustain its activities, reinforcing its commitment to the future of sports in Russia.

As a result, many teams and players supported by "Phoenix" have achieved national and international accolades, contributing to the longstanding legacy of basketball in the region.
