## Description

Jura Vertical is an climbing club based in Morez, in the heart of the Haut-Jura. With more than 300 members, it welcomes climbers of different ages and experience levels, offering activities for children from age four through adults aged 77 and over. Sessions are led by a team of enthusiastic climbing practitioners and include opportunities to learn, enjoy the sport, and train. Members can climb on regularly renewed routes and bouldering problems ranging from grade 4a to 8b.

The club offers separate programs for recreational youth, youth competition teams, and adult recreational climbing, along with opening sessions during school holidays. It also organizes events and competitions, including open contests hosted on its recently developed bouldering wall, which meets national standards. For outdoor climbers, Jura Vertical shares information about local crags and promotes an updated guidebook covering 28 sites and more than 1,000 routes across six areas of the Jura department. The guidebook is available to order for €25.
