## Description

JustGiving is an online fundraising platform that helps people raise money for charities and causes they care about, while making it easy for supporters to donate. The platform says it has helped raise more than $9 billion for non-profits globally and supports fundraising and donations for thousands of charities and non-profits. It also highlights GiftAid as a way to help charities make more from donations.

Fundraisers can create a page by telling their story, setting a target, and adding photos or videos. They can share it with friends through email, social media, or text messages, then manage donations and thank supporters. Funds go to the chosen charity or, where applicable, to the fundraiser’s bank account.

JustGiving offers ideas and pathways for fundraising across areas including animals and pets, art and culture, education, international aid, disability, local communities, sports, and health and medical causes. Users can also find event-based fundraising opportunities and suggestions for raising money, or donate to support a cause.
