## Description

Just This Counseling is a private mental health counseling practice founded by Kari Stubbert in 2024 and based in Eugene, Oregon. Stubbert is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Drawing on experience in university and community mental health settings, she offers a warm, inclusive space for clients seeking support with stress, burnout, life transitions, trauma, and the effects of discrimination or systemic oppression.

The practice helps clients build grounding and presence, explore past experiences and recurring patterns, and work toward healing, growth, meaning, and purposeful change. Its approach is integrative, anti-racist, and trauma-informed, incorporating person-centered counseling, Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy, somatic practices, and mindful self-compassion. Stubbert is also trained in EMDR and may use it to support reprocessing adverse or traumatic experiences. Just This Counseling emphasizes meeting the present moment with curiosity and compassion while supporting each person’s individual understanding of mental and psychological health.
