## Description

Kaizenvest is an emerging markets asset manager focused on using investment to advance human flourishing and economic mobility. Founded in 2011, the firm has managed private equity and blended finance structures across South and Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. It began as India’s first education-focused private equity fund and has since broadened its strategy to support growth-stage businesses addressing interconnected social and economic needs.

Kaizenvest invests in companies that strengthen education-to-employment pathways, expand access to quality healthcare, and improve financial inclusion. Its focus includes education and skilling, healthcare, and small and medium-sized enterprises, which the firm views as important sources of livelihoods and job creation. By backing entrepreneurs and working with founders on sustainable growth, Kaizenvest aims to help build businesses that create quality jobs and support a larger, more inclusive middle class. The firm offers investment capital through its private equity and blended finance approaches, alongside engagement intended to help portfolio companies grow.
