## Description

Kalaallit Arsaattartut Kattuffiat (KAK), also known in Danish as Grønlands Boldspil Union, is Greenland’s official football association. Founded on 4 July 1971, it organizes and supports football across the country and represents Greenlandic football internationally. KAK works to develop the sport both within Greenland and beyond, with around 38 member clubs and approximately 5,500 registered players—about 10 percent of Greenland’s population.

The association oversees national teams for men, women and youth, including the men’s U19 side, as well as men’s and women’s futsal teams and youth futsal squads. It also coordinates competitions for adult and age-group teams, alongside regional activities for younger children. For coaches, KAK offers training pathways that include UEFA-recognized education and opportunities to pursue coaching qualifications. Its work includes initiatives for children and young people, national football planning and news about teams and futsal. KAK is based in Nuuk and belongs to Greenland’s sports confederation, CONIFA, the Island Games and Arctic Winter Games International. It has also applied to join CONCACAF.
