## Description

Canva Austria GmbH, formerly Kaleido AI GmbH, develops visual AI tools designed to make image and video editing more accessible. After becoming part of Canva in 2021, the company changed its legal entity name while keeping its products, branding, functionality, operations, and customer arrangements unchanged. Its mission of making visual AI accessible aligns with Canva’s goal of empowering people to design.

The product portfolio includes remove.bg for automatic image background removal, Unscreen for automatic video background removal, and Designify for creating designs automatically. These tools are available individually, with pro features and API access available through a Kaleido Account. They are also integrated into Canva, where users can incorporate them into their designs. For businesses seeking a scalable background removal solution, Canva Austria offers enterprise options and invites prospective customers to get in touch.

The company continues to operate independently within Canva, and its services, contracts, billing arrangements, and customer support remain in place. Canva Austria also recruits team members to help develop its visual design and AI offerings.
