## Description

KalyChain is a public, EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed to support finance, payments and AI services in the real economy. The network is carbon neutral and built on Hyperledger Besu, using hybrid proof-of-authority and proof-of-stake consensus. It reports throughput above 10,000 transactions per second, finality under three seconds and fees below $0.01. KalyChain says it has been in production for more than three years, with live network activity and on-chain governance.

Its ecosystem includes KalySwap, a DeFi platform offering decentralized exchange services, NFT vaults and the KUSD stablecoin, as well as a Mobile Money bridge connecting mobile payments with blockchain services. KALYSSI provides fintech infrastructure for banks and institutions, while KalyOS and KalyBot support AI agents and ecosystem services. KMT is used for network gas, and gKMT provides governance voting power.

The project also offers open-source developer tools, documentation, SDKs, grants and security programs. Its roadmap outlines planned development in stablecoins, identity, lending and international expansion.
