Kamal Oghly Photography is the creative outlet of Kamal Oghly, a seasoned professional photographer with over 35 years of rich experience in documentary photography. Based in Ankara, Turkey, Kamal has made significant contributions to the visual arts, engaging in impactful projects throughout Syria and beyond. His extensive portfolio includes collaborations with the European Union and the United Nations on human rights and sustainable development initiatives, as well as cultural documentation efforts in Sudan.

Kamal is not only a dedicated photographer but also a passionate educator, conducting professional photography courses for youth in Turkey since 2016. He plays an influential role in the International Cultural Academy in Germany, where he heads the photography department and shapes research agendas. His work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across Syria, the Arab world, and Europe, with a notable exhibition in France focused on the destruction of Syrian cultural heritage due to war.
