## Description

KAMS, the Kuopio Shooting and Hunting Association, is a long-established club based in Kuopio, Finland, with a history dating back to 1906. It brings together people interested in shooting sports and hunting-related target disciplines, offering opportunities to practise, train, compete, and take part in club activities. The association welcomes people interested in starting shooting as a hobby and provides information about joining and arranging a first visit.

KAMS supports several disciplines, including rifle, pistol, moving-target and game-target shooting, as well as shotgun shooting. Its facilities include an indoor air-gun range and outdoor ranges for activities such as rifle, pistol, and moving-target shooting, with dedicated moose ranges also listed. The club publishes range schedules, safety and range rules, competition announcements, calendars, and results, and holds regular weekly competitions. Its programme includes local and regional events, Finnish championship competitions, and air-gun contests. KAMS also provides training information, club news, event updates, and details about its partners, helping members and visitors stay connected with shooting sports in the Kuopio area.
