# Kāpiti Midwives - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `kapitimidwives.org.nz` ## Description Kāpiti Midwives is a midwifery practice serving families across the Kāpiti Coast, from Ōtaki to Pukerua Bay. Providing care in the region since 1992, the team supports women and their babies throughout pregnancy, birth and the first six weeks after birth. Its approach is based on continuity of care, evidence-based practice, safety and empowering women to make informed decisions. The midwives work with each woman and her whānau to shape care around individual needs, and may incorporate cultural, spiritual and complementary practices. Families can choose to give birth at home, Paraparaumu Maternity Unit or Wellington Hospital. For planned home births, a second Kāpiti midwife also attends. The practice’s midwives are registered with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand and are members of the New Zealand College of Midwives. Kāpiti Midwives also offers a monthly, no-obligation coffee meeting for people considering its services, along with information and resources, frequently asked questions, classes, events and practical advice. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Womens Health _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/KapitiMidwives) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhRR2CUv4/w/301/h/152/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793262585037) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idhRR2CUv4/w/1067/h/1068/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793262585388) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Pacific Blue | #0ba9b5 | accent | | Pickled Bluewood | #25354a | dark | | Blizzard Blue | #a6e1ec | light | ## Fonts - Inter — asset _(google)_ - Inter — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
