Kaplan Educational Foundation

The Kaplan Educational Foundation (KEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking down barriers to higher education for overlooked and underserved students. Founded in 2006 by a team of Kaplan, Inc. executives, KEF provides vital resources, including hands-on support services and financial assistance, to high-potential community college students. The foundation empowers these individuals to complete their associate degrees and successfully transfer to competitive four-year institutions.

With a vision of making college education universally attainable, KEF champions diversity in leadership by investing in low-income students, fostering their growth as future community advocates and leaders. The Kaplan Leadership Program (KLP) has already supported over 170 scholars, with an impressive success rate: 95% of scholars complete their associate degrees and 92% successfully transfer to senior colleges.
