## Description

Karana Rising is a revolutionary brand that provides an empowering space for survivors to lead, create, and support one another on their journey to healing and thriving. Founded by Andrea Powell and Fecha Talaso, the brand aims to prevent the wrongful arrest and incarceration of survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence through their justice-focused network, Survivor Justice Initiative, and virtual healing programs. At Karana Rising, survivors of trafficking, exploitation, and assault are valued as experts in healing, creativity, advocacy, and prevention. The brand's survivor-led innovation labs provide a platform for survivors to share their lived experiences and design creative solutions. Karana Rising also addresses the vulnerabilities and systemic issues that contribute to human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Their survivor members create locally sourced, ethical, and sustainable fashion jewelry and self-care products. Additionally, the brand offers workshops, led by survivors, to provide transformative support and professional experience. Join the Karana Rising community and become part of the movement towards justice and healing for survivors.
