## Description

Zanshin Göttingen e.V. is a karate and self-defense club welcoming children, young people, and adults from beginners to advanced practitioners and DAN holders. The club teaches traditional Shotokan karate, with an emphasis on modern competition karate, and offers practical self-defense based on techniques developed through karate training. Its activities also include training in traditional martial arts, weapons such as staff and sword, and competition.

Eight training sessions take place each week, Monday through Friday, giving members a range of opportunities to practise. Regular beginner courses help newcomers get started, and the club encourages people of all abilities to explore karate and self-defense. Training is open to participants aged 6 to 86, and the club describes its membership fees as affordable. Qualified, experienced instructors lead sessions for different ages and experience levels.

Zanshin Göttingen shares club news, event information, training videos, and updates on member achievements through its website and newsletter.
