## Description

Kare is a renowned graphic design brand located in San Francisco, California. Led by Susan Kare, a pioneering and influential computer iconographer, Kare specializes in creating icon sets, corporate identities, and other design projects. With over 30 years of experience, Kare has designed thousands of icons for leading companies worldwide. Known for her minimalist approach, Kare's icons utilize a grid of pixels and are constructed with mosaic-like precision, ensuring immediate and memorable communication of their function. Kare's work focuses on clarity, simplicity, and conceptual strength, whether for icons, corporate identities, web design, or murals. Kare believes that good icons should be easily comprehensible, similar to traffic signs, and should not be overloaded with unnecessary details. With a background in fine art and design, Susan Kare brings a unique perspective to her work. Besides her design career, she is also an avid surfer, runner, and Australian shepherd fan. Kare offers limited edition fine art prints, available on kareprints.com, and is available as a speaker for design-related events.
