Karis Neighbour Scheme

Karis Neighbour Scheme is a local and responsive charity that aims to meet the unmet needs in our neighborhoods by encouraging local people to volunteer their time and skills. We offer a range of projects and services to support the community.

Our Karis BeFriends program provides befriending and neighborly help for older people, offering regular visits and assistance in getting involved in social activities. For children and families, we provide support and friendship through our Welcome group and English classes for those with limited English skills.

We also offer a listening and guidance service where you can explore important issues in a safe and valued space. Our community advice service, in partnership with local groups, provides drop-in sessions and support from a Money Advisor.
