Kariyon is a project that brings together nearly 2300 merchants in the canton of Fribourg. It aims to highlight the talents of passionate merchants, creative artisans, and dedicated service providers in the region. By prioritizing their products and skills, Kariyon promotes sustainable development in the area. Additionally, Kariyon offers a gift card and a mobile application to support and showcase local businesses. 

Local Impact, a young company based in Fribourg founded in 2020, is behind the Kariyon initiative. During the COVID crisis, they launched the "Support for Fribourg merchants" action to assist local businesses. Their platform encourages residents to shop locally and support nearby merchants and short supply chains. 

Their core values include solidarity, innovation, and transparency. By promoting proximity commerce, Kariyon aims to boost the local economy and foster a strong sense of community.
