## Description

Karjala-Pulling ry is the organizer of Kasukkalan Mäkiveto, a traditional motorsport event held in Kasukkala, Lappeenranta. The event brings together competitors, machinery enthusiasts and spectators for a day of tractor and truck hill-pulling, as powerful vehicles tackle a steep gravel slope. Its focus is on vehicle performance, driver skill and the excitement of each timed run, with different competition classes for tractors and road-legal trucks.

The next Kasukkalan Mäkiveto is scheduled for Saturday, 19 September 2026, starting at 11:00 at the Kapakanmutkan gravel pit. Visitors can watch the competition up close, explore exhibitors and enjoy food, refreshments and activities for all ages, including a pedal-tractor track for children. Admission costs €20, while children under 12 enter free; tickets are sold at the venue, with cash and card accepted.

Karjala-Pulling ry also provides event information and competitor guidance, including registration details, class rules and safety instructions. The event welcomes both experienced enthusiasts and first-time visitors.
