## Description

KG Hadamar 1928 e.V. is a carnival and cultural association in Hadamar, Germany, dedicated to celebrating Fastnacht and preserving its traditions. With around 300 members and more than 100 active dancers, the club brings people of different generations together through a lively program that extends beyond the carnival season. Its activities include an annual carnival gathering, appearances by the council of eleven, participation in regional carnival parades, and a presence at the Hadamar Christmas market. The association’s dance corps offers groups for children and adults, presenting both traditional and modern performances. These dancers appear on carnival stages and compete successfully in tournaments across the state. KG Hadamar also supports the preservation of local carnival customs through its membership in the Limburg-Diez-Hadamar Three-Alliance and the Rheinische Karnevals-Kooperation. Guided by community, tradition, and a shared enjoyment of carnival, the club has continued its work through challenging periods and looks ahead with its members and supporters. Its history dates to 1928, reflecting a longstanding commitment to Fastnacht and carnival dance.
