## Description

Kasbah du Toubkal is an award-winning ecolodge and hotel in Imlil, in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains. Set at 1,820 metres within Toubkal National Park, the hilltop retreat offers sweeping mountain views and a peaceful alternative to the bustle of Marrakech, about 60 kilometres away. Guests reach the Kasbah on foot from its reception in Imlil, with mules available to carry luggage.

The accommodation includes 14 comfortable en-suite rooms, three family rooms and three rooms that can be combined as a private, self-contained house. Gardens and spacious terraces provide places to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape. A local Berber team welcomes guests and supports their stay, while the lodge serves cuisine and offers a distinctive cultural experience.

Kasbah du Toubkal also arranges trekking packages, including stays at its Trekking Lodge and ascents of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest mountain. Packages can include accommodation in Marrakech or Essaouira. The property is owned by British company Discover Ltd, which has arranged trips to Morocco since 1978.
