## Description

Katalog is an independently built social network for people who love films, television, books, albums and games. It brings these interests together in one journal, letting members record what they watch, read, play and listen to, while sharing ratings, reviews, progress and recommendations with friends. Rather than focusing on a single medium, Katalog offers one shelf and one feed for every format, with a search tool and lists to help members find and organize titles. Users can follow friends’ activity, discuss what they’re enjoying, and connect related works—such as a book, its film adaptation, soundtrack and game—in the same place. Katalog also supports importing libraries and activity from Letterboxd, Goodreads and StoryGraph, including relevant ratings, reviews, watchlists and dates. The service is free to use and presents itself as a relaxed, friendly community for exchanging recommendations and keeping track of personal tastes. Built in Europe, Katalog aims to make it easier for media lovers to share their interests across formats without maintaining separate journals on different platforms.
