## Description

Katharina Bau offers documentary family photography, birth photography and film services in Munich, Landshut and across Bavaria. Her work focuses on preserving genuine moments rather than arranging posed scenes, capturing the closeness, emotion and everyday rhythms of family life as they naturally unfold. Sessions may document pregnancy, birth, the first hours with a newborn, the postpartum period and family life at home, including ordinary moments such as cuddling, feeding, playing and sharing meals.

As a mother of three, Katharina brings personal understanding to the changing pace and intensity of family life. She aims to create honest photographs that reflect not only how a moment looked, but how it felt, without requiring families to have a perfectly tidy home, polished appearance or coordinated pose. Her approach is warm and unobtrusive, helping families feel accepted as they are. The resulting images and films are intended as lasting records for parents and children to revisit over time.
