## Description

Kathy Sparrow is an accomplished author, literary midwife, and fly fisher. With a passion for writing that began in her early childhood, Kathy embarked on a journey to pursue her dream despite the naysayers. She started by writing personal essays and eventually transitioned into writing personality profiles for a community newspaper. Through her proximity to influential figures in the New York City and Massachusetts art scenes, she had the opportunity to meet and interview notable individuals such as Kermit Love, the creator of Sesame Street's Snuffleupagus and Oscar the Grouch, and Anita Roddick, the Founder of The Body Shop. As her career flourished, Kathy expanded her repertoire to include book publishing, working with reputable publishing houses such as For Dummies and Masters Press. Her outstanding non-fiction writing and poetry have earned her numerous awards and recognition from her peers. Moreover, Kathy has also become a sought-after writing coach, guiding aspiring authors through their own storytelling journeys. Currently teaching at various institutions, Kathy shares her expertise in first-year composition classes and provides marketing guidance to aspiring writers.
