## Description

Katzenmusikgesellschaft Schattdorf, also known as KAMU Schattdorf, is a community association based in Schattdorf, Switzerland. The organization brings together people who enjoy Fasnacht, the local carnival season, and invites both women and men to become members. In 2026, KAMU Schattdorf will celebrate its 75th anniversary, marking a longstanding presence in the community.

The association shares information about its activities and upcoming events, including Fasnacht 2026, a summer festival in 2026, and a parade planned for 2027. Its website also features details about the carnival motto and the association’s commemorative plaque. A distinctive part of its offering is Toggel i, its satirical carnival publication. The association welcomes humorous stories about amusing incidents or people who have made themselves the subject of a joke, and submissions can be sent by email or through its contact form.

KAMU Schattdorf also provides information for prospective members and announces its general meeting, scheduled for November 6, 2026. Its work celebrates carnival as a lively occasion for community participation and shared enjoyment.
