## Description

Kawasaki Jazz is a vibrant jazz festival that celebrates the rich culture and diversity of Kawasaki City, Japan. Launched in 2015, the festival has quickly become a cornerstone of the local arts scene, attracting over 35,000 participants in 2023. As it approaches its 10th anniversary in 2024, Kawasaki Jazz coincides with the city's 100th anniversary and the celebration of "Kawasaki as a city of music."

The festival operates under the theme "Jazz Bridges," reflecting its mission to foster connections through music. It features a series of concerts featuring talented musicians across various venues, including the Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall and Club Citta. In addition to mainstage performances, Kawasaki Jazz offers lively free concerts in public spaces, as well as lectures and workshops, ensuring that the art form is accessible to all. The festival not only highlights jazz's historical significance as a melting pot of cultures but also promotes social initiatives that encourage community engagement and sustainability through music.
