## Description

The Kuratorium Deutsche Altershilfe Wilhelmine-Lübke-Stiftung e.V. (KDA) is an active contributor to creating a more humane society that promotes long and self-determined lives, strengthening the respectful coexistence of people of all ages. Established in 1962 by former President Heinrich Lübke and his wife Wilhelmine Lübke, the KDA is committed to independence, neutrality, and fostering a cross-generational dialogue. As an innovative think tank, the KDA plays a pivotal role in shaping the future with its valuable services and solutions. Their core goals include highlighting the importance of aging as a societal responsibility, promoting democracy and inclusivity in aging, identifying and fostering the potentials of older adults, ensuring participation and self-determination, and strengthening social networks. Under the patronage of current President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the KDA continues to champion these causes, recognizing diversity and embracing the opportunities presented by demographic change. With its profound history and dedicated team, the KDA is paving the way for a society that honors and supports aging individuals.
