## Description

The Keeler Foundation is a nonprofit foundation incorporated in 1994. Its mission is to empower children, families, and communities through resources and support that advance health, education, and social well-being. The Foundation provides grants to programs serving children and families facing socioeconomic barriers, including poverty, trauma, substance abuse, incarceration, and food or housing insecurity. It also supports initiatives focused on digital communication awareness, filmmaking, and creative arts engagement.

Its funding priorities include early childhood education and intervention, healthy development for infants and youth, and support for caregivers. The Foundation backs whole-family approaches to reducing generational poverty and promoting social mobility, as well as community schools and learning centers offering educational and social services. It also supports partnerships that advance policies for early childhood education and well-being, and programs that build visual media literacy among young people. The Keeler Foundation aims to remain responsive to changing community needs. Its trustees research organizations aligned with its interests; unsolicited proposals are not considered.
