## Description

Keen Company, an Off-Broadway theater company, is dedicated to creating theater that connects. As a Drama Desk and Obie Award winner, Keen Company stages intimate productions of plays and musicals that celebrate the complexities of hope and the joys of the human condition. With a commitment to inclusivity and a welcoming environment, Keen offers a positive and trustworthy experience to all. They value kindness, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm, fostering healthy collaborations that encourage vulnerability and risk-taking. Connection is at the heart of their work, as they seek deeper relations with their community of collaborators, audiences, and peers through accessibility and anti-racist practices. Keen offers a diverse range of programming, including their Off-Broadway productions, which feature impactful shows like Crumbs from the Table of Joy and The Year of Magical Thinking, and their educational programs like Keen Teens, which commissions plays and provides mentorship opportunities for high school students, and the Playwrights Lab, which supports mid-career playwrights in developing new work. As a brand, Keen Company is known for their enthusiasm, insight, and commitment to making meaningful, thought-provoking theater.
