## Description

Derek Gow Consultancy (DGC), established in 2003 by founder Derek Gow, specializes in wildlife conservation and rewilding initiatives across the UK. With a significant focus on the reintroduction of native species such as the Eurasian beaver, water vole, and white stork, DGC is currently spearheading a project aimed at restoring wildcats to England. The consultancy combines expertise in ecology and animal husbandry to support wildlife through various programs, including educational visits, overseas training, and volunteer opportunities.

DGC is home to a dedicated team of ecologists and animal husbandry experts who offer a range of services designed to promote biodiversity. They conduct ecological surveys, manage breeding programs, and lead workshops and courses aimed at increasing public awareness of conservation issues. Annual conferences and immersive nature experiences at their Rewilding Coombeshead site further enhance their community outreach, aiming to foster a deeper connection between people and the natural world. Through innovative projects and comprehensive training, DGC remains at the forefront of nature conservation in Britain.
