Keep Taxis Alive Organization (KeepTaxisAlive.Org) is a dedicated platform established in 2016 by Ben Alawi, a seasoned taxi driver from Chicago. The organization serves as a global hub for empowering taxi drivers while advocating for the survival of the taxi industry. The community-centric website facilitates meaningful discussions and idea-sharing among taxi drivers and customers, aiming to address challenges faced by the industry, particularly in light of competition from unregulated rideshare services like Uber. KeepTaxisAlive.Org provides a wealth of resources, including the latest news on taxi industry developments and information on upcoming events for drivers worldwide. Additionally, the organization offers a forum for taxi drivers to voice their concerns and share solutions, fostering a united front against unfair business practices that threaten their livelihood.
