The Kellin Foundation has been providing free counseling and peer support services for over 80 years. Their mission is to strengthen resilience among children, families, adults, and communities through trauma-informed behavioral health services that focus on prevention, treatment, and healing. Their highly-trained professionals help clients break cycles of trauma, promote mental health, and address substance use challenges.

The foundation offers evidence-based, trauma-responsive counseling, peer support, advocacy, and case coordination services. Additionally, they provide training and facilitate teams working together to build a stronger community. The organization has experienced exponential growth since its establishment in 2013, expanding its services, staff, and community engagement efforts.

In 2022, the Kellin Foundation merged with Mental Health Greensboro to improve access to free behavioral health services. Both organizations share a commitment to providing evidence-based approaches and reducing stigma associated with mental health and substance use challenges. Led by Dr.

Kelly Graves, the foundation continues its original goal of ensuring that more individuals and families can access free, comprehensive behavioral health services.
