## Description

The Kennebecasis Paddling Centre (KPC) is a paddling organization based in Rothesay, New Brunswick, offering opportunities for recreational and competitive participation in kayaking and paddling. Its programs serve people interested in community recreation as well as athletes pursuing high-performance paddling. The centre offers one- and two-week sport camps, with full-day programming, and competitive team programs. Registration information is provided through the centre’s website, including links to its RAMP registration system.

KPC also supports paddling events and maintains communication with participants through news, frequently asked questions, and information about the organization. Its work is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, with roles covering leadership, finances, administration, fundraising, communications, facilities, technical matters, and safety. The centre describes its priorities as fostering a safe, welcoming paddling environment and supporting both community sport and competitive development. With the 2029 Canada Games set to be hosted locally, KPC sees an opportunity to strengthen its organization and contribute to the region’s sport community.
