Royal Kentalis is an internationally recognized brand in the field of deafness and hard-of-hearing expertise. As the international project office of Kentalis, our team operates as a knowledge broker, connecting the specialized knowledge of Kentalis to the specific needs of our partners. Established in 2010, Kentalis International Foundation continues the international efforts of Kentalis after their merger. While we are an independent foundation with non-governmental status, we receive support from our parent organization, Royal Kentalis. Our primary focus is to provide fair and high-quality education and care to individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, particularly in low and middle-income countries. We work alongside academic institutions, teacher training colleges, disability support organizations, and government entities to improve deaf education in the Global South. Additionally, we collaborate with these organizations to train professionals in the field of hearing and communication.
