# Ker-Hars - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ker-hars.fr` ## Description Ker-Hars is a writing-focused association whose projects encourage people to express themselves, share experiences and discover the creative possibilities of words. Through its Écrithèque and related initiatives, the association has offered writing activities since 1995, guided by writer Catherine Marc. Its approach welcomes participants’ existing knowledge and experience, whether they want to imagine stories, explore memories or put real-life events into words. Ker-Hars organizes in-person workshops in Quimper, Trégunc, Plouhinec and other locations, as well as online sessions open to participants across different territories. Its activities include autobiographical writing and life-story support, weekend writing events, workshops for children and collaborative projects such as public word collections. The association also develops activities for retirement homes and works with groups including residents of an employment-support establishment. Participants can use Catherine Marc’s writing booklets as guides for their own work.
