## Description

Kestrel’s Nest is a personal website and blog based in Athens, Georgia, sharing its author’s projects, reflections, and everyday interests. The site brings together essays, weeknotes, recipes, software experiments, and updates on board games, local events, travel, and creative pursuits. Readers can browse posts by topic, learn about Eric, explore a personal board-game collection, and find links to the author’s presence on social and developer platforms.

A featured project is Dip, a free browser-based version of the strategy game Diplomacy. It requires no accounts and lets people play with friends at their own pace or face house players that negotiate in plain English, track promises, and may break them. Other highlighted work includes bggpipe, an automated board-game organizer, and a cooking-video project called Random Recipe Project. Articles also cover tools and techniques, including using a software testing setup to create training videos and building an email support workflow that keeps decisions in human hands.
