## Description

Imatran Ketterä Juniorit ry is a youth ice hockey club based in Imatra, Finland, dedicated to providing children and young people with a high-quality, welcoming sporting community. The club supports around 380 participants each year and is recognized for the quality of its development-focused activities. Its guiding values are fun, openness, community and respect.

In February 2020, Ketterä Juniorit became the first ice hockey club in Finland to be audited under the Finnish Olympic Committee’s Tähtiseura programme. The designation represents a commitment to safe, responsible and continually developing sports activities.

The club offers junior teams from U8 to U18, along with introductory hockey and skating schools, girls’ hockey, recreational hockey and a women’s recreational hockey group. It also provides support for participation in the sport and offers a sports academy. Beyond playing, children and adults can contribute as coaches, instructors and team officials. The club welcomes new players and volunteers, and encourages prospective members to contact team representatives or visit a practice to learn more.
