## Description

Kettering & District RDA is a local member group of the Riding for the Disabled Association, incorporating Carriage Driving. The well-established group provides riding sessions for children from four local schools during school terms, using five ponies kept at a livery yard in Lowick. Its work gives pupils the opportunity to take part in riding activities in a supportive setting, with one young participant describing a first session as “gorgeously lovely.”

The group marked its 25th anniversary in 2005 with a visit from the President of the Riding for the Disabled Association, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. Alongside its sessions, Kettering & District RDA organises regular fundraising events and benefits from generous supporters who make regular donations. These contributions help sustain the group’s activities and care for its ponies. Kettering & District RDA is a registered charity, number 1074319, and welcomes enquiries by phone or email.
