## Description

Keyaki Aikido is an Aikido association based in Ypenburg, a district of The Hague, Netherlands. It brings together adults of different ages and experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, to train body and mind through shared practice. Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art that redirects an attack through centered, fluid movement rather than blocking it. With no competitions, the practice emphasizes resolving conflict without violence, while developing fitness, flexibility, coordination, and mental and emotional balance.

Keyaki welcomes newcomers to try a class free of charge. Training takes place in a dojo equipped with soft mats, with general practice on Thursday evenings and advanced sessions on Thursday and selected Saturdays. The association is affiliated with the Dutch Aikikai Foundation and Aikido Bond Nederland, connected to Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Japan, and mainly follows the Tissier line. Instruction is supported by practitioners with extensive Aikido experience and recognized ranks. Annual association contributions apply, with additional fees for the national organizations.
