# KFHS - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `kfhs.org` ## Description The Kamloops Family History Society (KFHS) is a non-profit organization established in 1982 to promote family history research and help people discover their ancestry. Based in Kamloops, British Columbia, the Society supports members and the wider community through education, shared knowledge, and opportunities to connect with fellow family historians. Its activities include monthly meetings from September to May, where participants can learn, exchange ideas, and build camaraderie. KFHS offers member education and ancestor research assistance, along with access to a genealogy library and a Family Search Centre staffed by Society volunteers. Its website provides research resources such as cemetery records and monument inscriptions, funeral records, family research forms, local research information, genealogy blogs, and practical tips for getting started. Membership is open to new members, and the Society welcomes visitors seeking help with family history research. As a registered charitable society, KFHS directs funds raised toward its aims and objectives and accepts donations to support its work. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id-5H6uD2W/w/797/h/496/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792733944367) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Havelock Blue | #507cd6 | accent | | Japanese Laurel | #018602 | dark | | Wild Sand | #f7f7f7 | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ - Lato — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
