KG Els-Spechte Vossenack 1985 e.V. is a carnival society based in Vossenack, Germany, dedicated to preserving and promoting local carnival traditions. Founded on March 23, 1985, by 23 people, the association has grown to around 251 members, including children and adults. Youth involvement is central to its work, with the society aiming to introduce younger generations to carnival and help sustain the village’s traditions.

Its activities bring members and the local community together through carnival events, performances and seasonal celebrations. The society’s groups include children’s and youth dance teams, dance soloists, a women’s dance troupe and the men’s dance group, “De Hanghöhner.” It also offers a workout group and supports training through its coaches. Young performers feature in groups such as the Mini-Spechte, while the wider program includes a large guard and activities for children’s dance soloists.
