## Description

KG Kluet un Rekelieser Oberembt von 1878 e.V. is a carnival association based in Oberembt, part of Elsdorf, Germany. Founded in 1878, the society has celebrated local carnival traditions for more than 149 years, bringing residents and visitors together during the festive season and throughout the year. Its activities include organizing events such as costume sessions, men’s sessions and Rosenmontag celebrations, often held in the association’s festival tent on Josef-Müller-Platz. The programme also features performances by its dance groups, Mini Mäuse, O-Ahoi and Klüttefunken, whose members train to entertain audiences. Beyond its own events, the association takes part in local celebrations and visits fellow carnival societies, helping sustain connections across the region. The organization is supported by active members, patrons, volunteers and partner groups, and welcomes people interested in participating in its traditions. Its website shares the society’s history, information about its board and members, event details, photographs, news and a membership application.
