# KHSV - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `khsv.nl` ## Description The 1ste Kirchröadsjer HerreSitzungsverain, also known as 1e KHSV, is a carnival association founded in Kerkrade on 3 September 1994. Its activities celebrate local carnival traditions, with the men’s “zietsóng” (session) at the heart of the association’s programme. KHSV has 26 members and one honorary member, and receives support from sponsors. The association hosts and takes part in events across the 2026–2027 season. Its listed programme includes the Prinseroad Zumpelveld men’s session on 22 November 2026, a special evening marking 33 years of KHSV on 28 November 2026, and sessions hosted by Altstädter Härekommers, VVKW and KVV1936 in January 2027. The KVV1936 session is listed for 31 January. KHSV also preserves an item of its own history: its association medal, designed by Wim Steins in May 1997. A limited run of 33 copies was made.
