## Description

Koorie Heritage Trust is a cultural organisation in central Melbourne, on the banks of the Birrarung (Yarra River) at Federation Square. It invites visitors to discover the stories, art, culture and continuing traditions of Aboriginal Victoria, and acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Greater Kulin Nation as Traditional Custodians of the land where it is located. Entry is free, and the Trust is open daily.

Visitors can explore exhibitions, events and one of Australia’s leading collections of Victorian First Peoples art and cultural heritage. The Trust also offers walking tours, including the Birrarung Wilam Walk and Scar Tree Walk, and runs cultural competency workshops for organisations, individuals and small groups. Its services and activities include a Koorie Family History Service, venue hire, a shop, and opportunities to learn about Blak Design. Through these experiences and resources, Koorie Heritage Trust supports learning, connection and engagement with Aboriginal culture and heritage. Its website provides information about current events, exhibitions, workshops, tours and ways to support the organisation.
