## Description

Kidney March is a charitable fundraising and awareness initiative focused on kidney disease and organ donation. Based in Calgary, Alberta, it brings together marchers, volunteers, donors, sponsors, families, and supporters to help people affected by kidney disease. Its signature event is a three-day, 100-kilometre walk, where participants raise funds and share a challenging, community-focused experience. The organization highlights that four million Canadians have chronic kidney disease or are at risk, often without knowing it, and encourages people to learn why the community marches.

Kidney March offers event registration and fundraising opportunities, including team and individual participation, as well as ways to donate and support campaign goals. Its website also provides marcher stories, event information, fundraising results, photos and videos, and updates for alumni and the wider kidney community. Sponsors and volunteers contribute to event activities, while gatherings such as alumni reunions help participants stay connected. Through these events and resources, Kidney March works to build awareness and raise funds in support of those affected by kidney disease.
