## Description

KIDO Events is a family-focused guide to children’s activities in Waterloo Region, serving families in Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and nearby communities. Its website helps parents and caregivers discover local events, camps and programs and find ideas suited to their children, schedules and budgets. Visitors can search by date, child’s age, price, setting and category, with options such as free events, indoor activities, outdoor outings, festivals, music and crafts.

KIDO highlights ways to explore, including what is happening today, weekend plans, free family activities, upcoming festivals and school-break camps. Its program directory also covers interests such as art, games, nature, performance, reading, science, social activities and sports. Families can browse listings from local organizations and venues, save favourites, create lists and follow updates by signing in. An interactive assistant, Do, offers help finding suitable events, camps and programs in the region.

KIDO also supports participating organizations with an access request pathway and gives users ways to share feedback or report listing issues.
