## Description

KIDS Regio is an organisation based in Erfurt, Germany, working at the intersection of children’s media, policy and the film industry. Its activities bring together people and organisations interested in creating and supporting screen content for young audiences. Through forums, research and publications, KIDS Regio provides opportunities to exchange ideas, share findings and strengthen cooperation across the sector. Its programme includes the KIDS Regio Forum, held in multiple years, a Berlinale Meeting Point, the Window to Europe initiative and the Young Audience Report 2025. The organisation also hosts discussions and networking events, including “From Policy to Screen” at the Filem’On Festival and the KIDS Regio Fck up Night at Just Film Industry Days. KIDS Regio shares information through its website, newsletter and downloadable resources, and highlights declarations, partners and research projects. It is based at the Deutsche Kindermedienstiftung Goldener Spatz in Erfurt. By connecting policy conversations with practical industry exchange, KIDS Regio helps give children’s media and young audiences a place in European film discussions.
