## Description

Kidsafety Tilburg is a children’s sports program focused on self-confidence, personal safety and respect. It teaches children aged 4 to 12 practical ways to defend themselves, speak up for themselves, set boundaries and recognize and respect the boundaries of others. The lessons are intended for children who want to become more assertive as well as those who need support in respecting other people’s limits. Through age-appropriate instruction, children can build confidence and learn how to respond to challenging situations, including bullying. Respect is central to the program, and experienced instructors help children work on individual learning goals.

Kidsafety classes are offered at three locations in Tilburg, including the city centre and Reeshof. Instructors can also deliver sessions at schools, out-of-school care centres and other venues. The program is part of Sportschool 013, where families can combine Kidsafety with other youth activities, including kickboxing, youth boxing, Krav Maga and Total Defense. Kidsafety Tilburg also offers free trial lessons and can provide sessions for children’s parties or sports-club outings.
