## Description

Kids & Teens Resource Centre (K&TRC) is a Nigerian nonprofit organisation dedicated to building secure futures for children and strengthening the communities around them. For more than two decades, it has worked across Nigeria in health, education, child rights, environmental sustainability, social and community development, and governance. The organisation reports reaching over 5.2 million people, mentoring more than 765,000 young leaders, mobilising over 18,000 volunteers, and working in more than 2,500 communities.

K&TRC’s programmes include HIV and malaria prevention, reproductive health, access to clean water, school construction, scholarships, and partnerships with educational institutions. Its child-protection work addresses issues including child marriage, female genital mutilation, violence, exploitation, and other rights violations. The organisation also provides community training in recycling, biogas production, and waste management, alongside skills development and infrastructure initiatives. In governance, it promotes voter education, women’s participation, and accountability. Based in Akure, Ondo State, K&TRC shares programme updates and invites people to support its work through volunteering and donations.
